Let's Get Our Goals and Resolutions On!!!

     Hello, Fam...  It's that time of the year again.  This is when we need to take a look at and Acknowledge and Accept All that we Achieved, Adapted, Affected, and Accomplished during this past year.  Did you achieve that higher place in life you were looking for?   What new methods did you have to adapt to?   Where did you have an affect on someone elses life?  Did you accomplish your set goals?   Let's just say some of us may have fallen a little short or sightly missed some of the marks we were going for.   But that's okay.  As you are looking back, just remember that what you are looking at is the past...  It is gone, never to return again, so take a look, learn, and let's get ready to get our goals and resolutions on!!!    We've got to move forward.  We need to move towards HEALTHY!!!  It's GOAL setting, RESOLUTION making time.

      Business.com definition of goal is, an  observable and measurable end result having one or more objectives to be achieved within more or less fixed .  TheFreeDictionary states that a resolution is a course of action determined or decided on.   So, here we go.  Let's take some time to sit down and write some goals and resolve to get them done.   Psychology today had an article stating that even with good intentions and effort, we consistently fall short of achieving our goals. Hummmm...  That may be true, but I believe that some of that is because we, yes we, set our goals so high and give ourselves too little time to achieve them.   That being said,  I am planning to be realistic with myself and set some goals that I KNOW I can and WILL achieve in what I feel is a REASONABLE timeframe--not what others think it should be.  These goals will be health related--weight loss, exercise regimens and challenges, healthier eating--lifestyle changes...
     So, my road to a healthier lifestyle will continue with some set goals and resolutions.  All I know is my first healthy goal I want to reach by the end of MARCH... I am a little anxious, maybe even nervous because I SO want to make my goal.   I haven't received my work schedule for January/February as of yet, so I am not quite sure how I am going to work things out, but WORK IT OUT is what I plan to do.  How about you???  I will talk to you in the NEW YEAR to let you know my healthy goal(s) and resolution(s) for MARCH...  SMOOCHES...
