Good morning, Fam... So I had to investigate this thing called the, "Boredom Diet". Now, I don't know about you, but I get bored with most diets after about one week (I think we all do), but this Boredom diet, has taken things to another level. Try eating the same thing everyday! That's right, everyday.
The concept behind the diet is that you will eat less because...you become tired of it. So, there was a research study done that had women eat macaroni and cheese every day for one week. By the end of the week, they had consumed 100 calories less at the end of the week. Truth be told, I can see that, but 100 calories less is NOT enough for me. Especially since it takes about 3500 calories less to lose ONE pound. Wouldn't you be tired of macaroni and cheese if you ate it at every meal for one week and not because you HAD to eat it, but because you WANTED to eat it...
If you do not know, the fact is that you have to make a lifestyle change to drop some weight. Yes, change. Adjustments to your current diet and of course, exercise, exercise, exercise. What changes are you making to your lifestyle???
Question. Would you consider bypass surgery or a lap-band procedure??? I'm just asking!!! We'll discuss those real soon... SMOOCHES...
