Good Afternoon, Fam... The Biggest Loser is a reality television show about weight loss. The show has what they call a "last chance work-out" for their contestants right before they go for their weigh-in. That weigh-in allows the contestants to see how well they have done toward making their fitness/health/weight goals. In some cases, if they do not do well enough, they are asked to leave the show. Well, if you haven't figured it out, this is my last chance workout. My goal was to lose 5% of my body weight by my birthday, April 25th. I am 4 pounds away and I have exactly 2 weeks remaining. What that means for me, is I have to bust my butt to get to my goal. Why? Because I had my moments of buck farting around and not giving my workouts and my eating habits the attention that I should have. For me, I have to give extra because I have many factors working against me--the inability to sleep well, age, thyroid issues, stress...just to name a few. But, this is no excuse zone, so let's get it in. How's it going for you???
Food For Thought: Remember the food tracking I told you about? Well, I went back and took a good look at my log. Yes, I had a few glasses of wine I SHOULD have done without and a couple of soft pretzels that should not have even been near my mouth. So, moving forward, I have to check myself.
Also, when buying food, check your nutrition
labels really well. I thought I was buying the Dole NO SUGAR ADDED Strawberry Popsicles. But I bought the Dole Strawberry FRUIT 'N JUICE popsicles and have been sucking them down as a snack, sometimes 3 at a time. The NO SUGAR product is 25 calories. The product I was eating has 80 calories...I should have known better, they taste too good to be true!!! SMOOCHES...

Greetings..... I've been learning from Weight Watchers(WW) that tracking is an important tool. As Lynne referenced her "LOG". Suggestions: purchase WW products as well for snacks. WW products tend to be low in calories and provide good portion sizes. REMEMBER: To reviewing the package for "serving size". (ie; Sodas & Drinks are packaged as 2 servings) So, if you drink the entire container, you have drank 2(two) servings =0 Water = 0 calories ! Karla
