On track to getting Healthier...

     Good morning, Fam...  It is official...  I spent most of December eating the WRONG things and gaining weight...  The Holidays were a killer to my masterplan, but I am ready and putting this CABOOSE back on track...  I hope that any of you out there who had the same issue as I did during these past holidays will admit it and plan to get up and get moving in the healthy direction.

     I have my notebook for my food diary.  My phone is set and tracking my workouts and  I have a new watch that tracks my heartrate/calories burned all synced up with my computer (at least I think I synced it).  All of those things are just tools to be used to help me get to my goal.  NOW, all of that means NOTHING if I don't do my part.  My part is planning my meals and eating healthier... you know, that "lifestyle change" that everyone keeps talking about.

     Trust me when I say that it will not happen overnight.  If you have been doing something over a lifetime--let's just say 20 years--the change is not going to be an easy task.  We are going to have to work at it and there WILL be some downfalls, setbacks, wrong turns, whatever, it will not be an easy road to walk or run.  But if you are ready, so am I!!!  I am in week 2 of the biggest loser contest with my Zumba friends.  First week's weigh-in, I lost 2-1/2 pounds.  I'll take it.  We have 7 more weeks to go (seems so far away)...

     We are 2 weeks into the NEW YEAR...I know some of you made a resolution to get healthier or lose some weight.  How many of you are still on the right track???  Still eating healthier, still getting your exercise at least 3 times a week, still drinking your 8 glasses of water?   Just naming a few things...

      Hey, is anyone out there trying the new "fat burners" on the market that Dr. Oz and others have been talking about, raspberry ketones or green coffee bean extract?  I'm just asking...  Smooches...
